In our first year we worked closely with Legal & General in restructuring the narrative section and have been able to build on this each subsequent year as the report has evolved. We have helped explain the way their businesses fit together, which they have found invaluable when communicating to shareholders, customers and employees. We also introduced a market environment section which provides context, expanded their assessment against performance to non-financial areas and focused on the purpose and role of Legal & General's sustainability and how this integrates within government and society.
